Project Animo is an initiative focused on producing new Australian dance works, fostering creative conversation and collaboration between the arts community and supporting our home grown artistic ecosystem. Our mission is to provide a platform for emerging choreographic voices and support independent creatives by commissioning original works, scores and designs to be performed by an interchangeable cast of artists. With voices heralded from landmark institutions such as Sydney Dance Company, Queensland Ballet, Bangarra Dance Theatre, The Australian Ballet, West Australian Ballet and more, this mix of game-changers and future change-makers creates an electric experience where artistry, kinetic wisdom and fresh ideas merge in a shared space.
