I use a wheelchair and communicate using a voice output device. My camera is mounted on a post on a tripod head on to my wheelchair. Technology gives me the ability to use a canon 6d camera with the canon app on my phone so I am able to capture creative images. I have an interest in photographing movement and angles because they reflect a sense of mystery, and life around me.
Over the last few years, I have had several opportunities to work for Darebin council shooting artists at Bundoora Homestead, commercial opportunities (Medibank private, CRC for learning modules) and have sold prints privately.
My first major success came when Arts Access bought my self portrait image for their 40 year anniversary celebrations and more recently my photo for " The Other Film Festival". I am currently completing a Cert IV in Photography & Photo Imaging. I am also a founding member of the Nimbus Art Studio at Bundoora Homestead.
