Deaf Artist, Educator, Consultant

Sue is a Sydney-based Deaf artist working primarily with photography, video, and textiles which explore her identity as a Deaf person.

In her work, people communicate in Auslan (Australian sign language) in an attempt to break down the barriers and offer the hearing world a glimpse into the world of her community.

Sue also works as an Auslan consultant to help make other artworks and performances more accessible to the deaf community.
