NDIS Working Group

The NDIS Working Group was established in 2014 to provide a forum that examines and responds to emerging issues and opportunities relevant to the NDIS and the Arts, and advocates for change where appropriate.
The group meets regularly, and includes representatives from arts and disability sector across Australia, creative companies and individual artists with a disability.
Our Focus:
- Working with government to examine how the National Arts and Disability Strategy can inform the NDIS.
- Ensuring the arts are appropriately recognised and costed within the NDIS Scheme
- Gathering stories from the field and showcasing best practice in arts and disability
- Empowering artists with disability to advocate for arts in their individual plans.
