Founded in 1953, Perth Festival is Australia’s longest running multi-arts festival that connects with up to 460,000 people a year. Perth Festival presents the most exceptional works gathered locally, nationally and from around the world for the enjoyment and cultural enrichment of the people of WA.
For three weeks each year, the Festival brings the city alive with theatre, dance, circus, visual arts, fine and contemporary music, a Literature and Ideas program and The Lotterywest Films.
Perth Festival strives to celebrate diversity and difference through accessibility and inclusion with a broad program of both free and ticketed events, community engagement and an extensive industry and Creative Learning program. Artistic Director Iain Grandage is leading the Festival from 2020-2023 with a commitment to community, learning and participation.
