Andi Snelling

Actor, theatre-maker

Andi Snelling is a multiple award-winning performer, writer, published poet, and theatre-maker with dancing roots. She trained at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London where she lived and worked for many years.

Her career highlights include working for the BBC, performing on the West End, and a recurring role on Neighbours. She has been described as “the standout” (Herald Sun), “nightmarishly funny” (The Age) and “so skilled that you’re left wanting more” (Daily Review).

Andi is known for her raw honesty and playful physicality, with her solo shows #DearDiary and Déjà Vu (And Other Forms of Knowing) enjoying much critical acclaim.

After becoming very ill with Lyme disease, Andi discovered that the greatest thing about life is simply being alive. Her latest work, Happy-Go-Wrong shares her experience of navigating Lyme and marks a powerful return to the stage. It has received awards at Melbourne Fringe 2019 and NZ Fringe 2020 and is nominated for two Green Room Awards.
