We did it! $41k raised to support people with disability in the arts

Arts Access Australia is very proud to announce that we reached our recent fundraising target of $20,000, raising a total of $21,051.15 to support people with disability in the arts! But that’s not all. Because we reached our fundraising goal, Creative Partnerships Australia will provide an extra $20,000 in matched funding through their Plus1 program… bringing the total raised to $41,051.15!
We would like extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported this campaign, whether by sharing our posts, donating, holding a fundraiser (thank you Sydney Pole and Grill’d) or supporting our WA Movie Fundraiser Night (thank you DADAA, Sandalford Wines, Oxlades Art Supplies Perth, Prendiville Group, Old Bridge Cellars, Circus WA, and to actress Julia Hales and the film artists who showcased their work on the night).
We couldn’t have done it without you!
The funds raised will support our 2019 Meeting Place Travel Grants, Advocacy and Change programs and our new AAA Leadership Award. Applications for the travel grants will be opening soon, so watch this space! And nominations for the Leadership Award will be happening in a couple of months, with the Award itself to be presented at a special industry awards evening at Meeting Place 2019 in Canberra, on 3 December 2019.
