The Inaugural AAA National Leadership Award

With the National Leadership Award, I’m looking forward to a year of professional development and strengthening my leadership and management skills. I started Auslan lessons with Green Door Auslan in January, and continue to have weekly one-on-one lessons.
I’m thankful to be improving and know that communication is a vital component of leadership! In future, I’m looking to complete courses in management, strategic planning, negotiation, and more.
The COVID-19 situation has made planning a little tricky but I’m looking forward to engaging in these later in the year, or through online resources where possible.
I’m still seeking people to join a South-East Queensland-based peer support and advocacy group, which I have started to create a safe space for d/Deaf and disabled artists to come together and figure out what we need to grow a community here.
I would love to hear from anyone interested in joining the conversation – email me at info@madeleinelittle.com or via my website, madeleinelittle.com
